Hearthstone Health + Fitness President + CEO, Dave Tuthill was a featured speaker at the International Health, Racquet & Sportsclub Association’s (IHRSA) Annual Summit in MayThe 11th Annual Summit for a Healthier America focused on America’s “inactivity problem” and how health clubs around the country can be part of the solution. Tuthill’s panel included Megan Nechanicky, from the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, as well as other industry leaders and experts.
Tuthill was chosen to speak based on the national recognition Hearthstone Health and Fitness has earned from their innovative approach to health and wellness and its success during its past inaugural year.

IHRSA’s Annual Summit took place on May 14-15, 2013 in Washington, D.C. where health club leaders came together and shared their creativity, ingenuity and leadership on how the fitness club industry can be a primary solution to America’s inactivity crisis. Tuthill also visited with Senator Cardin and Congressman Harris. IHRSA is comprised of more than 10,000 health and fitness clubs in over 70 countries and has affiliations with dozens of relevant agencies and organizations such as the First Lady’s Let’s Move! Campaign and the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition.
